Schwarzwaldhochstraße (B500 Black Forest Crest Road)
Germany oldest and most famous scenic tourist road, tracing the high main crest of the Northern Black Forest. Grosser Feldberg & Hochtaunus Twisties (L3004 / L3024)
The classic, historic motorcycling hillclimb of Central Germany, ascending through dense beech and pine forests of the Taunus Nature Park to the summit of the Großer Feldberg (881m / 2,884 ft). Known for the historic Kanonenstraße (Cannon Road) and the famous Applauskurve hairpin bend. Toll-free public road. Open year-round (winter snow/ice possible). Notice: some minor side roads have seasonal weekend motorcycle bans, but the primary L3004/L3024 artery remains open to two-wheeled tourers.
Roßfeld Panorama Road (Roßfeldpanoramastraße)
The highest continuously paved panoramic road in Germany, cresting at 1,570 meters (5,151 ft) directly along the Bavarian-Austrian border ridge. Features 14 switchbacks and grades up to 13% with dizzying vistas plunging into the Austrian Salzach valley and views across to the Kehlsteinhaus (Eagle's Nest) and the sheer limestone walls of the Hoher Göll. Private toll road (~€6.50 motorcycle toll). Open year-round (plowed during winter). Impeccable high-grip surface.
Nürburgring Nordschleife Corridor & Eifel Twisties
The surrounding public road circuit enclosing the legendary Green Hell (Grüne Hölle). Weaves through deep Eifel beech forests, quaint half-timbered villages, and around the medieval ruins of Nürburg castle. Public roads are toll-free; taking your motorcycle onto the official 12.9-mile Nordschleife circuit during Touristenfahrten sessions costs ~€30-35 per lap (governed by German road traffic law StVO; strict overtaking on left only). High grip asphalt, rapid elevation plunges, and intense enthusiast culture.
