Plunges over 4,000 vertical feet from the high granite pine plateau of Sierra de Juárez into the blinding-white desert basin of Laguna Salada. The eastbound road winds through a surreal landscape of colossal, stacked orange granite boulders with high desert winds whistling ('La Rumorosa').
