The Seven Mile Bridge is the centrepiece and Pigeon Key sits beneath the old span beside it. Mile Marker 0 at Whitehead and Fleming is the southern anchor of the Four Corners Tour, which is why riders come from Madawaska, Blaine and San Ysidro to photograph a street sign. It earns its place on none of the things we usually measure: it is flat, it is straight, and it is one of the most ridden roads in America.
