Traverses the UNESCO World Heritage Geirangerfjord corridor. The northern Ørnevegen (Eagles Road) features 11 tight hairpins rising steeply from sea level to Ørnesvingen view with panoramas of the Seven Sisters waterfall. After crossing the fjord floor at Geiranger village, the route ascends past Flydalsjuvet to Djupvasshytta and climbs the private Nibbevegen toll road (~220 NOK per bike) to the 1,476m (4,843 ft) Dalsnibba Skywalk over sheer glacial precipices. Closed October to late May.
