An Arctic motorcycle paradise 100 miles north of the Arctic Circle. The King Olav V Highway (E10) weaves through coastal fjords, over arching marine bridges, through granite sea tunnels, and beneath razor-sharp alpine peaks that shoot directly out of the Norwegian Sea. Traverses historic fishing hamlets like Henningsvær and Reine with traditional red rorbuer cabins. Toll-free. Open year-round, with 24-hour midnight sun from late May through mid-July. Watch for sea spray and wandering sheep.
